You must order a replacement on the same frequency, the operating frequency is printed on the back of the key-fob transmitter and also on the receiver casing. Note: 418Mhz transmitters are now discontinued because this frequency has been withdrawn from public use by the Home Office and re-allocated to the new European TETRA radio system. (see the Radiocommunications Agency website for details) Click here for details of a suitable upgrade kit Compatibility Each remote control system manufacturer uses a unique security code protocol, therefore these Cardale DC series/E-King transmitters will not be compatible with any other make or model of remote control system even if the radio frequency is the same Security Coding If you have an existing (working) remote control transmitter, the security code can be 'cloned' from an original transmitter using the special programming cable enclosed with each handset. programming procedure If you no longer have a 'working' transmitter a new transmitter must be programmed by following the procedure in the original Cardale door operator users instruction manual - see below |
